Network Intrusion Detection Techniques using Machine Learning

With the rapid development and an increasingly vital role of technology in the interconnected world, security is among the most significant concerns. Among numerous solutions, Intrusion detection systems (IDS) is considered one of the optimum system for detecting different kind of attacks. In this paper, we have tried to present a comprehensive study on Network Intrusion detection system (NIDS) techniques using Machine Learning (ML). Based on our study of recent research we have highlighted the latest techniques of NIDS using ML techniques and approaches, the common attacks that they can detect, and their issues.
